New member joins Harper Grey

Vancouver-based Harper Grey LLP has taken on a new associate counsel.

Drew Lawrenson is now a member of the firm’s business law group.

Lawrenson acts for several First Nations, providing them with advice on corporate commercial, real estate and governance issues. His clients have also included non-profits, partnerships and sole proprietorships.  

He has expertise in matters relating to sustainable resource development, board and band governance, real estate transactions and financing, and offering advice to private educational institutions throughout Canada, North America and China, specifically in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, regulatory matters, board governance, human resource and real estate issues.

Lawrenson has served as vice-president and general counsel for an international group of companies invested in commercial real estate and private education in North America and was a partner in regional corporate commercial boutique law firm.
