Torys partner re-elected as chair of Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships

Mark Bain, a Toronto-based infrastructure partner with Torys LLP, has been re-elected as chair of the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships.

Bain has been on the CCPPP board of directors since 2000 and was elected chair for the first time in 2016. He was re-elected to the position at the annual general meeting on Nov. 6. Bain will be supported by 22 others on the board of directors.

Consistently recognized as one of Canada's leading infrastructure and project finance lawyers, Bain has acted on over 70 major public-private partnerships and alternative financing and procurement transactions.

According to the Torys press release, CCPPP has been working with all levels of government and Indigenous communities since the early 1990s to achieve the best outcomes for Canadians through enabling effective and innovative approaches to public infrastructure development and service delivery.
