McInnes Cooper partner appointed to Canadian Tax Foundation board

McInnes Cooper announced that partner Jeff Blucher was recently appointed to the board of governors at the Canadian Tax Foundation.

Blucher is a corporate and business lawyer in the firm’s Halifax office who practises in the areas of income tax, corporate law and wills, estates and trusts. He is the firm’s practice group leader for tax and estate planning.

Blucher provides income tax and business law advice to individuals, public and private corporations, charitable and non-profit organizations and other entities in connection with the establishment of business structures, corporate reorganizations, purchase and sale transactions and other matters. He has significant experience with income tax planning for small and medium size businesses, estate planning and business succession planning. He also has significant experience with the formation of Nova Scotia unlimited liability companies and the establishment and reorganization of inbound corporate structures involving Nova Scotia unlimited liability companies.
