MLT Aikins adds three lawyers to Winnipeg office, one to Edmonton office

MLT Aikins announced that four lawyers have joined the Western Canadian firm.

Cheryl Frost, Robley Goff and Madison Sutherland are based out of the firm’s Winnipeg office, while Molly McIntosh joins the Edmonton office.

According to the firm’s press release, with a strong background and experience in litigation, Frost practises in the advocacy department with a particular focus on professional liability defence work. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2006 and Manitoba bar in 2008.

Goff works in the commercial law group. Previously, while clerking for justices of the Federal Court, she conducted legal research in areas such as tax, labour, intellectual property and immigration law. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2018.

Sutherland is an associate lawyer whose practice focuses on insolvency law, pensions and benefits law and Aboriginal law. She obtained her juris doctor from the University of Manitoba in 2018, and was called to the Manitoba bar in 2019.

McIntosh is an associate lawyer in Edmonton practising in litigation, whose past work experience focused on the energy and construction industries as well as insurance matters. She was called to the Alberta bar in 2018.
