Wildeboer Dellelce announced that Jill Winton has joined the firm as a partner in its tax practice group.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jill as a new partner at the firm,” Katy Pitch, chair of the firm’s tax practice, said in a news release. “Our tax group continues to attract the highest quality of legal talent which further solidifies the tax group as a leader in Canadian and cross-border corporate and real estate transactions.”

The firm’s press release notes that Winton practises in all areas of Canadian income tax law, with an emphasis on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, investment funds (including real estate investment trusts), corporate reorganizations, corporate finance, special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs), mining, and charities.

Prior to joining Wildeboer Dellelce, Winton was counsel in the tax group at a large national full-service law firm.
