New associate for Mathews Dinsdale in Calgary

Mathews Dinsdale announced that Cole Lefebvre has joined the firm as an associate.

According to the firm's press release, Lefebvre, an an employment lawyer practising out of the Calgary office, provides strategic advice to employers in all areas of labour and employment law including grievance handling and collective agreement administration, workplace policies, employment standards, privacy, workplace investigations, performance management, employee discipline, terminations, wrongful and constructive dismissal, restrictive covenants and accommodations.

He has experience working in federal and provincial proceedings and has appeared before the provincial court of Alberta, the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, as well as the Canada Labour Relations Board, and Canada Labour Code adjudications.

Prior to joining Mathews Dinsdale, Lefebvre worked at a leading national telecommunications company providing legal advice and support to the human resources department in all aspects of employment law. He also previously practised law with a national, full service law firm focusing on employment law and general litigation.

Lefebvre has a BA from the University of Calgary (2009) and earned his juris doctor from Calgary in 2013. He also has a certificate in public international law from The Hague Academy of International Law, earned in 2016.
