Dickinson Wright promotes Toronto partner

Dickinson Wright LLP announced the election of Robert Farmer as a new partner of the firm’s Toronto office, effective Jan. 1, 2021.
According to the firm’s press release, Farmer is based at the firm’s Toronto office and serves as group head - banking (Canada). His practice builds upon his 20-year career in finance and investment banking. He leverages his business background to provide practical and experience-based legal advice to his clients.
Previously he was a senior officer with Royal Bank of Canada, president of an investment bank and head of an investment fund.
He is a member of the Ontario Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. He received his bachelor of commerce degree from Saint Mary’s University and his LL.B., MBA from Dalhousie University.
