Four new associates for McLennan Ross

McLennan Ross LLP welcomed Jason Harley, Ania Konikowski, Jesse Neufeld and Jacquelyn Smalley to its group of lawyers.

According to the firm’s press release, Harley joins the labour and employment group, bringing additional strength to the firm’s management-side labour and employment practice. He regularly represents and advises employers with respect to complex disciplinary issues, human rights violations, wrongful dismissal and professional misconduct in both union and non-union contexts. He is based in Edmonton.

Konikowski maintains an employment law, litigation and construction law practice. An experienced employment litigator, she excels at safeguarding the rights of employees as well as ensuring proper policies and procedures are in place for our employer-side clients. She will work from Edmonton.

Neufeld joins the insurance group. He has considerable experience defending clients in motor vehicle accident claims, including high-speed accidents. He has also defended insurers in claims relating to long-term disability and personal injury. He works out of the Edmonton office.

Smalley focuses her practice on labour and employment matters. She advises private and public sector employers on all aspects of labour and employment law, including employment agreements, employment policies, disability management, workplace investigations, privacy matters, human rights complaints, labour relations issues and employee discipline and termination. She is based in Calgary.
