Sunil Joneja is, once again, a part of Gowling WLG Canada.

Now a Calgary-based partner specializing in lending and debt financing, Joneja was with Gowling WLG before becoming a partner at Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP. He has practised in British Columbia, England and Wales.

Joneja represents lenders and borrowers in domestic and cross-border syndicated and bilateral financing transactions involving a broad range of industries, including asset-based finance, project finance, acquisition finance, real estate and construction finance, auto finance and convertible debt. He also provides advice on derivative transactions including over-the-counter, commodity, interest rate and foreign exchange hedging transactions.

“We’re very excited to welcome Sunil back to the firm, and to continue growing our specialized capabilities in the areas of lending and debt financing,” said Peter Lukasiewicz, CEO of Gowling WLG Canada.

“With his impressive experience in leading complex, multijurisdictional financial transactions, Sunil is an invaluable asset to lenders and borrowers who are seeking legal advice at home and abroad.”
