New Toronto corporate partner for Stikeman Elliott

Stikeman Elliott announced that Sara Zborovski is a new partner in its corporate group in Toronto.

According to the firm’s press release, Zborovski’s practice focuses on providing regulatory and commercial counsel to companies regulated by Health Canada. She assists clients in navigating the regulatory landscape implemented by the Food and Drugs Act, the Cannabis Act and other legislation and associated regulations overseen by Health Canada.

She also works with clients on matters relating to product safety, including crisis management and product recall. 

“Sara is a leading Canadian regulatory law expert, with significant experience across a broad spectrum of life sciences and associated industries,” said Toronto managing partner, Jeffrey Singer. “She brings a passion to her regulatory practice that aligns perfectly with our approach, and we couldn’t be more delighted that she has joined our legal team.”

Zborovski was named a Life Science Star (Regulatory), 2013-2015 by LMG Life Sciences and was shortlisted for regulatory attorney of the year, 2019. She is a member of the Food and Drug Law Institute’s Global Committee, sits on the board of the Cross Border Health Foundation and until recently, acted as chair of the University of Toronto Tribunal, and director of food law and regulatory of the Canadian Institute of Food Science and Technology.
