McInnes Cooper adds four new partners

McInnes Cooper announced that the following four lawyers have been admitted to the partnership, effective Jan. 1, 2020. 

According to the firm’s press release, Jeffery Callaghan (Fredericton) has a commercial practice focusing on real property, business, Aboriginal and energy and natural resources law. 

Danielle Daigle (Halifax) practises in the areas of corporate finance, securities and corporate governance. She represents clients with respect to private placements and public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder and investor relation matters and advising on continuous disclosure obligations, and she also advises startup companies and investors on venture capital financings.

Sarah McInnes (Halifax) is an immigration lawyer also practising labour and employment and education law. She assists a wide range of clientele with Canadian immigration, labour relations and human resources issues. 

Michael Murphy (Halifax) has a practice focused on labour and employment law and pensions and benefits. He advises clients with respect to a variety of employment-related issues, including human resources policy reviews; human rights; union certification applications; collective bargaining and collective agreement administration; and occupational health and safety. He also advises on variety of pension-related issues, including plan design and implementation, wind-ups and more.
