Immigration lawyers urge major reforms to ‘excessive demand’ immigration ban

Lawyers clashed in Parliament this week over whether Ottawa should fix — or completely abolish — its contentious immigration ban on “medically inadmissible” foreign nationals whose future health costs are expected to make “excessive demands” on the public purse.
