Promotions for Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan lawyers

Three members of the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan’s legal team have moved up the corporate ladder.

In Ha Jang and Tara Rosenblatt, who both formerly held the same title, namely director and associate general counsel, are now each managing director and associate general counsel, investments. Ha Jang has been with pension organization since 2006, while Rosenblatt joined in 2008. In their new positions, both will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation on all investment-related matters including the investment and management of plan assets.

Sharon Chilcott also has a new job title. She is now managing director and associate general counsel, employment law and litigation. She has been with Ontario Teachers’ since 2014. Originally hired to manage employment and labour law matters, she now has oversight of all global litigation and enterprise contracts.

Ontario Teachers’ is Canada's largest single-profession pension plan, with $180.5 billion in net assets as of June 30, 2017.
