Mathews Dinsdale adds counsel in Calgary, three associates in Toronto

Mathews Dinsdale announced that Jackie Laviolette has joined the firm as counsel in its Calgary office, while associates Jessica Visser, Cameron Fynney and Lara Gradil have joined the Toronto office. 

According to the firm’s press release, Laviolette has significant experience advising employers across sectors, particularly in the health-care and education sectors; assisting with mediations, interest arbitrations, certifications and essential services negotiations. She provides advice on policy development and implementation, workplace complaints and investigations, workplace training and general employee relations.

Visser maintains a broad labour and employment practice. She advocates for both provincially and federally regulated employers, and has experience advising on labour board applications, grievance and arbitrations, collective bargaining, wrongful dismissals, human rights applications and workplace health and safety prosecutions.

Fynney practises in all areas of workplace law and provides advice and representation to both unionized and non-unionized employers. He has experience advising on labour board relations, employment disputes, collective bargaining, human rights complaints and occupational health and safety prosecutions.

Gradil assists employers in all areas of workplace law, offering advice on business immigration law, employment standards, workplace policies, unjust dismissals and human rights. She also has experience in assisting unionized employers in labour relations and arbitration matters.
