Lerners adds 10 associates

Lerners LLP announced the following have joined the firm as associates: Jennifer Amer, Renée Zatzman Stein, Amy Zhang, Jennifer O’Dell, Alec Yarascavitch, Cassidy Johnston, Spencer Jones, Ashley Boyes, Jennifer Hawn and David Isaac.

According to the firm’s press release, Amer is an associate lawyer in Lerners’ London, Ont., office, practising personal injury law. She was both a summer and articling student with the firm and was called to the bar in 2019.

Zatzman Stein has joined the Toronto office working in the firm’s insurance defence and health law groups. She was called to the bar in 2014. Her practice involves medical negligence, insurance defence, professional liability, product liability and contractual disputes.

Zhang has joined the Toronto office. Her practice focuses on plaintiff personal injury law. She was called to the bar in 2019.

O’Dell will also work with the firm’s health law and insurance defence groups in Toronto. Her practice focuses on insurance coverage, professional liability, defamation, environmental claims, personal injury and property damage. She was called to the bar in 2013.

Yarascavitch practises health law and plaintiff personal injury law at the Toronto office. In addition to his law practice, he is an emergency physician and an assistant professor of emergency medicine. He was called to the bar in 2019.

Johnston as an associate in the firm’s Toronto office. Her practice focuses on family law. Johnston was an articling student and law clerk at Lerners. She was called to the bar in 2019.

Jones works from the firm’s Toronto office. He is practising commercial litigation and specialty insurance. He completed his articles at Lerners and was called to the bar in 2019.

Boyes works with the Toronto office’s health law group and in the personal injury group as a member of its sexual assault and abuse legal team. She was called to the bar in 2018.

Hawn also will work from the London office. She practises insurance defence law and is experienced in handling a variety of claims including property damage, slip and falls, motor vehicle accidents and catastrophic injuries. Hawn was called to the bar in 2006.

Isaac as an associate lawyer in the London office. Isaac, who summered and articled with the firm, was called to the bar in 2019 and practises personal injury and health law.
