Two former articling students return to Deeth Williams Wall as associates

Deeth Williams Wall LLP announced that former summer and articling students Michelle Noonan and Anna Troshchynsky have returned to the firm as associates after their call to the bar in Ontario.

According to the firm's press release, Troshchynsky’s practice covers a variety of intellectual property and information technology matters, including pharmaceutical regulatory law and litigation, privacy and data protection, and considerations around product regulation and marketing. She conducts patent searches and advises on issues relating to patentability and infringement. She also has experience in patent prosecution, specifically drafting patent applications.

Prior to attending law school, Troshchynsky obtained her master of science in biology from York University. As a graduate student, she focused on immunology studies and was awarded the Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarship for her thesis in the area of antibody gene recombination. She joined DWW as a summer student in 2016 and completed her articles with the firm in 2019.

Noonan’s practice covers a range of IP matters, including litigation involving trademarks, patents and copyright. She also advises clients on clearance, filing, prosecution, opposition and enforcement of IP rights, with an emphasis on trademarks.

Prior to attending law school, Noonan obtained her master of science in physiology and pharmacology. Her graduate research focused on a cell signalling pathway involved in breast cancer metastasis. She joined DWW as a summer student in 2017 and completed her articles with the firm in 2019.
