Nine new associates for Hicks Morley

Hicks Morley announced the hiring of nine new associates. Working out of the firm’s Toronto office are Amanda Cohen, Ashlee Common, Matin Fazelpour, Diana Holloway, Sarah Iaconis, Will McLennan, Kate Shao and Evan Taylor. Practising out of the Waterloo office is Nicholas Smith.

Cohen provides advice and representation to employers and management in both the private and public sector on a wide-range of labour, employment and human rights issues, including grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining, labour disputes, occupational health and safety, human rights and accommodation and employment standards.

Common works with employers and management in both the private and public sectors on labour, employment and human rights issues. This includes litigation, labour disputes, grievance arbitrations, human rights and accommodation. She is licensed to practise law in Ontario as well as New York.

Fazelpour is an administrative lawyer with a focus on information management and privacy law who advises clients on a range of labour and employment matters. He provides advice to employers and management in both the private and public sectors on data management, access to information requests and appeals, privacy policy review and regulatory compliance with provincial and federal statutory law.

Holloway provides advice to employers and management in both the private and public sectors on labour, employment and human rights issues. This includes litigation, labour disputes, grievance arbitrations, collective bargaining and human rights and accommodation.

Iaconis advises employers and management in both the private and public sectors on labour, employment and human rights issues. This includes wrongful dismissal actions, employment standards, labour disputes, grievance arbitrations, human rights and accommodation.

McLennan provides advice to employers and management in both the private and public sectors on all labour, employment and human rights issues. This includes issues in all industries.

Shao works with employers and management in both the private and public sectors on employment, labour and human rights issues. This includes wrongful dismissal actions, human rights and accommodation matters and grievance arbitrations.

Taylor advises private and public sector employers on a wide variety of labour, employment, human rights and occupational health and safety issues.

Smith provides advice to employers and management in both the private and public sectors on a range of labour and employment issues including: employment contracts, interest arbitrations, labour disputes, wrongful dismissal and human rights applications.
