New counsel joins Bereskin & Parr

Bereskin & Parr LLP announced that Naomi Zener has joined the Toronto intellectual property (IP) firm as counsel.

According to the firm’s press release, Zener’s practice focuses on drafting and prosecution of both domestic and international transactional entertainment, IP, commercial law, marketing and advertising and broadcasting regulatory law.

Zener completed her juris doctor at Osgoode Hall Law School and her LL.M. at the University of Toronto.

She has 15 years of experience working in legal and business affairs executive management. She also has private practice experience where she provided legal advice to clients on IP, advertising and marketing, employment, development and production.

She acted as Canadian counsel for clients in both Canada and the United States in the TV broadcast, film and technology industries.

Zener was admitted to the state bar of California in 2008 and admitted to the Ontario bar in 2004.
