Torys partner re-elected as chair of Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships

Torys announced that infrastructure partner Mark Bain was re-elected for the third consecutive year as chair of the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships (CCPPP) at its annual general meeting.

According to the firm’s press release, Bain has acted on over 80 major public-private partnership and alternative financing and procurement transactions.

Most recently, Bain was a lead on two out of five projects which were honoured at the CCPPP’s 2019 National Awards for Innovation and Excellence in Public-Private Partnerships. 

Bain has been on the CCPPP board of directors since 2000 and was first elected chair in 2016. This term he will be supported by 23 others on the board of directors.
