Lawyers address use of precautionary principle at Yellowknife Geoscience Forum

The 45th Annual Yellowknife Geoscience Forum, held Nov. 14-16, brought together representatives from the mining industry, academia and government to share information on mineral and petroleum exploration, mining and geoscience research in Canada’s North.

Two of the delegates were from the Toronto firm Willms & Shier Environmental Lawyers LLP and they were there to explain the need for the consistent use of the precautionary principle to ward against environmental harm.
