Ontario Court of Appeal okays class action against WSIB

A class action against the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) has a chance to go forward after the Ontario Court of Appeal granted permission for that lawsuit to proceed after it had been previously blocked.

The suit claims WSIB was unfairly cutting costs through a "secret policy" that reduced the awards given to workers who suffered permanent injuries in workplace accidents.
