Oatley Vigmond partner admitted to Litigation Counsel of America

Tuesday, September 18, 2018 @ 9:54 AM | By John Chunn

Oatley Vigmond announced that partner Troy Lehman has been selected as a fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America.

Lehman joins the personal injury firm’s founding partners, Roger G. Oatley and James L. Vigmond, in having represented the firm while receiving this distinct honour.

The Litigation Counsel of America is an invitation-only trial lawyer honorary society established to reflect the new face of the American bar. Membership is limited to 3,500 fellows, representing less than one-half of one per cent of American lawyers. The composition of the Litigation Counsel of America is aggressively diverse, with recognition of excellence among American litigation and trial counsel across all segments of the bar.

A graduate of the University of Western Ontario law school, Lehman was called to the bar in 2001. He received the highest mark on the bar admission course by anyone from Western University. Lehman joined Oatley Vigmond in 2006 and became partner in 2010.

Lehman has been invited to educate other lawyers on various topics relating to personal injury law at conferences hosted by the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and York University.

He has represented many clients at trial and has been lead counsel in appeals to the Divisional Court and Court of Appeal.
