Doug Ford and Ontario taxes: Dawn of a new era?

Premier-elect Doug Ford boasted that Ontario is now open for business. Certainly, many of his tax proposals are business friendly and if enacted will provide welcome tax relief for both business and individuals. With a solid majority, the new PC government has the parliamentary power to enact any tax relief that it chooses, but it may lack the fiscal ability to do so.
